Sheffield Uk

Do you have a family partner and /or any children?

Yes Husband of 50 years Roy Lewis and 2 children Matthew and Sarah both doctors, a daughter in law, a son in law and 5 lovely grandchildren.

How are you a descendant of Mordechi Shlomo Marcus?

He was my Great great (maybe one more great) grandfather and I am so grateful to those that left Lithuania when they did.

What do or did you do for primary occupation/career?

I am retired but was a civil servant working for UK government.

What do you do for recreation or pastime?

Art, theatre, and cooking.

What books are you reading now?

The Heart’s Invisible Furies by John Boyne.

What is your favourite Jewish food?

Crispy latkes!

What is you favourite movie of all time?

West Side story original version.

Who was the greatest influence on your life and why?

My father Cyril a man of many talents. Caring and wise with a brilliant sense of humour and a quick wit.

If you could invite 3 people (1 dead and 2 alive) to a dinner party, who would they be and why?

I am happy with the people I have dinner with now and I love to have dinner with my 2 brothers Jonathan and Paul who are great company.

What would be on the menu?

Poached Salmon, strawberries and cream.

Walking with cheetahs in Zambia

My family is the most important thing in my life.
