Julie and Shawn Meehan Who are your spouse/partner and children/grand-children?
- I am the grandson of Jessie Meehan (Marcus), and the son of Herbert Meehan. My wife, Julie, and I have been married for 22 years. We are the proud parents of university-age twins, Nicole and Maxwell. We live outside of New York City in Port Washington on Long Island.
- What do you do for recreation or pastime?
- Julie and I enjoy traveling, running, and reading. Julie also enjoys cooking (much to our benefit). Nicole is really into music (especially going to concerts), and Maxwell is really into sports (especially going to games).
- What are the things you are looking forward to at the reunion?
- I always have been intrigued by history — including family history. For as long as I can recall, I have heard stories about relatives scattered far and wide. We are looking forward to getting a chance (finally) to meet some of those relatives and (finally) visiting Ireland. I also have been brushing up on my James Joyce and Irish Whiskey for the occasion!
